Shalom.

My Name is Vivian. Welcome to Revelation for Living, a website that provides resources from a Torah-centered perspective, made possible by the blood of Yahusha, the Messiah.

I created this website to help Believers like you who have heeded the call to live a Torah-pursuant life. You are looking for resources to help in your pursuit of Truth. As seekers of the Truth, we desire a life of transformation experienced through the living Word of Yahuah (God), our Creator. His Word has the key to transformation. It is the source of revelation for living that enables us to live righteously, in an increasingly unrighteous world. Yet, transformation doesn’t happen overnight. Embracing Truth that produces transformation within, is a life-long journey.

Journey into Truth

My journey into Truth began as one born and raised in Christianity. I always attended a Christian church. Even though, I was quite content in Sunday church, I stopped celebrating Christmas in 2005. The fruit that I saw in Christmas did not correspond with the truth found in the Bible.

And the axe is already laid to the root of the trees. Every tree, then, which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 3:10

Yet with that, I still did not know there is even more to be known and more to be experienced in Messiah. I absolutely had no idea. At the time, I did not understand the gross offense to Father that man-created holidays such as Christmas, Easter and Halloween are.

Thus said Yahuah, Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be awed by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them. For the prescribed customs of these peoples are worthless, for one cuts a tree from the forest, work for the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool. They adorn it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and hammers so that it does not topple.

Jeremiah 10:2-4

And you shall guard all My laws and all My right-rulings, and do them, so that the land where I am bringing you to dwell does not vomit you out. And do not walk in the laws of the nation which I am driving out before you, for they do all these, and therefore I loathed them.

Leviticus 20:22-23

Even though I served faithfully in my church, the feeling of wanting more never went away. At one time, the worship team sang a song by Jonathan Stockstill called, “Chasing after You.” The chorus went like this: There must be more now Father. “There must be more now Spirit. There must be more now Jesus. Rain down. Rain Down.” I would get very emotional singing that song. I sang it with all my heart, singing from a place deep within my spirit.

We are not always conscious of our desire for Truth. Nevertheless, it remains with us throughout our lives. This insatiable hunger that Yah placed inside each of us manifests in one way or another. We try this and we try that. We think this relationship, or that job, that career, that social connection will satisfy. In reality, every experience that is outside the path of Truth found in Father’s Word, cannot produce the deep abiding shalom (peace) that our spirit craves. Only the Word of Yah produces real life (Matt. 4:4).

Awakened to Truth

A consistent theme in my prayers for about a year before I crossed over to a Torah-pursuant life, was that I would know Truth.  Truth is the “more” that all of our spirits are crying out for. In the spring of 2013, Father supernaturally awakened and showed me that there is indeed more to worshipping Him in spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:24). There is more than the traditions that I inherited from my forefathers and foremothers which I faithfully and religiously practiced.

Apprehending Truth

No one witnessed to me. I didn’t see anyone on TV preaching about Father’s Commandments. It was the Qodesh Ruach (Holy Spirit) that gently led me out of Christianity. I was driving home from a trip. It was Spring Break (I was a public school teacher at the time). I took my time getting back home and decided to stop at a thrift store. As is my habit, I visited the book section of the store. A book about the Sabbath caught my attention. I bought several books that day, but that one, I devoured when I got home.

Although now, I don’t agree with every practice in that book about keeping the Sabbath, at the time, it was refreshing to my soul and spirit.  I can describe it as an instant awakening or quickening in my spirit. I knew that keeping the Sabbath was Truth. I immediately tried keeping the Sabbath to the best of my ability while still going to church.

The Pursuit of Truth

After reading that book, my desire and search for Truth snowballed. In the fall of 2013 I left Sunday church altogether. I became a Hebrew as Abraham was a Hebrew (Gen. 14:13) (Hebrew means to cross over). I have crossed over from Christianity to embracing Father’s Law through Yahusha the Messiah (Jesus the Christ).

I celebrate the Sabbath and the other appointed times (feasts) ordained by Yahuah (God). A common misconception (as of this writing today) is that these feasts are only for one tribe of Israel (Judah=Jews). Not so. These feasts are for all mankind (Lev. 23:2; Isa. 56:7; Mk. 11:17). I have learned that Father is pleased when we worship Him in the way that He wants to be worshiped. I am pursuing obedience to the Creators Laws and Commands.

I don’t believe in coincidences. I do believe Father supernaturally led you to Revelation for Living today in your quest for the Truth. As you peruse these pages, I pray that you will find something in the writings, teachings and resources that will help you in your own journey of living a Torah-pursuant life of Truth and transformation, walking in the way of our Messiah, Yahusha.
