Exodus 39 Observations
Exodus 28 :2 relates to Exodus 39 which is about making the garments for Aaron. Exodus 28:2 says:
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty. Exodus 28:2
As the redeemed of YAH, we are in reality:
…a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9
I think (just my opinion) that the style of clothing of on-purpose, tattered, torn and distressed clothing that is/was popular recently sends an opposite message of what the Word of YAH tells us who we are.
Royalty does not wear torn up clothing (even if done on purpose and bought from the store that way).
This is not for anyone that lives in a part of the world where access to adequate dress is hard to come by and there is wear and tear, but not on purpose. I wrote the above words for those who have access to sufficient garments, but choose to pay money for already ripped up clothes, just to fit in, to go along to get along with the clueless world.
What did Joseph do first when he was call out of the dungeon to go into the presence of Pharaoh, the king (royalty) of Egypt? Scripture tells us.
