18 Month Bible Reading Plan Month 2 Day 21 Exodus 21 Acts 15

Exodus 33 Observations

Exodus 33 :14 There is rest in the presence of YAHUAH.

Acts 15 Observations

Acts 15:1 The dispute was about circumcision in order to be (healed, preserved, do well, be (made) whole)by the blood of YAHUSHA. The disagreement was not about keeping/obeying the law of YAHUAH in one’s every-day living.

Saved: Strong’s Number G4982 From a primary word σῶς sōs̄ (contraction for the obsolete σάος saos, “safe”); to save, that is, deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): – heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.

Acts 15 :10 Abba’s law was/is not a yoke. The manmade laws of man’s religion are a yoke of bondage and ultimate destruction. When the law of YAH is used in a way that He did not intend, then the law becomes a yoke. The law of YAHUAH in of itself is not a yoke. Man concocted religion is a yoke.

Acts 15:11 Again, the question is not about whether or not we should keep (meaning obey) the law of YAHUAH our Elohim.

Acts 15:11 Notice “will be saved” is future tense and not present or past tense. This reminds me of the words of the Messiah in Mark 13:13 he also spoke of a future salvation:

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  Mark 13:13

The once saved, always saved church doctrine does not agree with the teaching of the Messiah in Mark 13 nor with the words of Peter in Acts 15.

Acts 15:19 YAH’s law is not troublesome. Using His law unlawfully (in his sight—which is all that matters) is both troublesome and burdensome.

Disclaimer

Please, please comment below if you see ANYTHING that is contrary to Scripture that I have presented in these Scripture Observations. I want Truth and when I see that I have made a mistake, I want to correct that. No chips on my shoulders here.

I also ask one thing, though. Please, please present your thoughts in the context of two or three Scripture references, not just one (see Deuteronomy 17:6; Matthew 18:16; 2 Corinthians 13:1). One verse (especially one verse out of context) will not be received as evidence. I am just not one to interpret Scripture or accept other’s interpretation of Scripture apart from the written Word of YAH found in the whole counsel of His written Word.

I try my best to limit the use of the precursor words of “I think” or “I believe” without Scripture to back up my “I thinks” and “I believes.” Not only on this site, but be on the lookout anywhere else for excessive “I think” and “I believe” statements presented as Truth, with no Scriptural evidence to back up the statements.

The written Word of YAHUAH is the standard, the vanguard against deception which as you know is quite rampant these days.
