18 Month Bible Reading Plan: Month 1 Day 28 Genesis 46, 47 and John 19

Genesis 46 Observations

Genesis 46:34 This verse seems to show that the Egyptians were of the same mindset of Cain.

Genesis 47 Observations

John 19 Observations

John 19:11 “YAHUSHA answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above.”

John 19:12-13 This goes with the observation in Genesis 45. Joseph’s brothers responded righteously even though this meant they would be exposed to their father about what they did to Joseph. Pilate in John 19 responded unrighteously. In the name of self-preservation, he delivered YAHUSHA over to be unrighteously put to death. Pilate was not in favor with Caesar at the time. In his mind, the last thing he needed was for Caesar to find out that he released YAHUSHA who proclaimed his deity. Caesar had elevated himself to be a god.

John 19:42 John in more than one verse pointed out that the Jews claimed certain religious days. Before, I was led to believe that this was merely commentary inserted by the translators.

With the understanding of the Creator’s calendar, I now know that what is in John is what John said. The Jewish leadership had their own false calendar that was different from the calendar that YAHUSHA used.

Disclaimer

Please, please comment below if you see ANYTHING that is contrary to Scripture that I have presented in these Scripture Observations. I want Truth and when I see that I have made a mistake, I want to correct that. No chips on my shoulders here.

I also ask one thing, though. Please, please present your thoughts in the context of two or three Scripture references, not just one (see Deuteronomy 17:6; Matthew 18:16; 2 Corinthians 13:1). One verse (especially one verse out of context) will not be received as evidence. I am just not one to interpret Scripture or accept other’s interpretation of Scripture apart from the written Word of YAH found in the whole counsel of His written Word.

I try my best to limit the use of the precursor words of “I think” or “I believe” without Scripture to back up my “I thinks” and “I believes.” Not only on this site, but be on the lookout anywhere else for excessive “I think” and “I believe” statements presented as Truth, with no Scriptural evidence to back up the statements.

The written Word of YAHUAH is the standard, the vanguard against deception which as you know is quite rampant these days.
